Sasha Vildanov is our Aspire Competitive Coach on the Gold Coast and works with our Senior Southport Gymnastics Club gymnasts.
A high performance coach, Sasha is originally from Russia and is now based on the Gold Coast. Sasha has a wealth of experience, having been involved in the sport of gymnastics for 54 years! He started as a gymnast himself, aged 8 and has been coaching for 45 years!
Some of Sasha’s amazing achievements as a gymnastics coach include having three gymnasts on the Russian Junior National Team. He has also coached gymnasts at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics and was coach to Australian Team Members Jacqui Dunn (who was a World Cup Champion), Georgia Benora (two time Olympian and Commonwealth Games medalist), Shona Morgan and Melissa Munro.
Sasha Loves working with kids and improving kids movement. He also loves that gymnastics makes kids happy!
