The position of WAG Program Manager/Head Coach Level 4-10 is now available at Barron Valley Gymnastics!

Barron Valley Gymnastics Club coaches are employed by Delta Gymnastics, who provide management, program structure and support for the club.  Barron Valley Gymnastics Club operates from a council owned building in Stratford (5-10mins from Cairns central) and the full-time training facility incorporates all Olympic apparatus as well as access to pits, tumble track and trampoline.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Head Coach or a Senior Coach who has the desire to step up and lead a program.

Preference will be given to strong skills in Beam and Floor to complement our current qualified coaching staff.

You will be part of a bigger team of coaches working with others from Brisbane and Gold Coast on occasion and have access to support from our International coaches and program.

Barron Valley Aspire gymnasts and coaches have the opportunity to participate in many tours (locally, interstate and internationally) as well as training boot camps and recreational spirit camps. Our level 7-10 gymnasts are leaders in the club and we are looking for someone who has exceptional leadership and coaching skills.

Are you a development gymnastics Coach?

Delta Gymnastics currently has casual coaching positions in Brisbane, on the Gold Coast and in Cairns.

The positions are available within our Gym Kids (development gymnastics and Aspire Foundations (level 1-3) program and will be $15-$35/hour depending on experience.  With Monday-Friday  afternoon and Saturday/Sunday positions available, this is the perfect opportunity for current coaches looking to pick up coaching hours around uni timetables, family commitments or other jobs.

You must demonstrate the desire and passion to help kids grow up in a nurturing environment with expectation and enthusiasm. You must also be able to work in a team and display excellent
interpersonal and communication skills with the desire to want to learn more.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with and be mentored by our senior coaching staff and will be expected to coach across our full range of classes at different times. The opportunity also exists for you to potentially be involved with our school-based gymnastics programs.

Led by our Program Manager, Julie Kulbe, Delta Jnr Gym Kids is a highly beneficial, playing with purpose program for Under 5's. An Early Childhood degree or diploma is extremely favourable and a love of movement a necessity!

Our Gold Coast Jnr Gym Kids Program is growing, and we are now searching for a passionate, enthusiastic person to lead our team of coaches in further developing our Gold Coast Program.

With almost 1000 children across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Cairns enrolled in our Jnr Gym Kids classes, we know that it is an amazing program. In this role you will work closely with and be supported by one of the world's  leaders in this area and our overall Program Manager, Julie Kulbe. Julie will assist you in delivering an exciting, educational, movement development program to our Gold Coast community.

The full-time role will be across 5 or 6 days and salary loading will be included for classes on a Saturday and Sunday.  Permanent Part Time and Casual roles will also be considered.

Our Team Leaders in each area form part of the overall Club Leadership Team under the guidance of the Club Manager and Gym Kids Operations Manager. The Team Leader will lead a tribe of gymnasts, parents and coaches and is ultimately, the public face of Delta for your members.  You will be responsible for getting to know and communicating with members and delivering the Delta product.

As a Team Leader you will be a strong coach with excellent “one on one” mentoring skills. You are excellent at executing a plan and explaining what we do and why we do it (to both coaches and
parents). As a member of the Club Leadership Team you will be exposed to the meeting rhythm, all Delta products, policies and systems. You would also have Key Performance Indicator’s to help guide your role.

Salary is dependent on experience and what you can bring to the team.

You will be a team player; able to coach on all apparatus and co-coach with a partner coach.
