The Gym Explorer plus program includes two 90 minute classes each week and has historically been the breeding ground for the future successful competitors of Delta Gymnastics.

In the early stages of gymnastic learning it is critical that children are given excellent teaching on shaping, posture, phsyical preparation and basic technique.

The Gym Explorer Plus program provides an excellent opportunity for children to take the time to learn things correctly and lay the foundations which are required for more advanced skill learning.

Coaches have a greater expectation of children in this program, as these young gymnasts have demonstrated the ability and  desire to do more. 

The Explorer Plus class provides accelerated learning for those interested and capable.  Children in this program will learn from steps 3 - 7 of the Delta Steps Curriculum and also prepare skill combinations and routines from the Gymnastics Australia National Development Program.
