"The 3 Delta parents – CJ O’Brien, Frank Beckey and I undertook the ride on the weekend. CJ and Frank completed 125 km each day and I managed 125km out and about 80 km back. It was an out of the comfort zone challenge for a good cause that related to a very personal experience for all of us. The course was incredibly challenging with 25km added to each leg and 1200m elevation in hill climbs that we weren’t aware of before the event. We could not have raised the money without the support of the Delta club and parents in both Brisbane and Gold Coast and would sincerely like to thank you for the support."
