Over the weekend of the 15th and 16th of May we had over 420 gymnasts perform at the Delta Carnival and Delta Duel held at the St HIlda's Sports Complex at Southport.

For our carnival gymnasts it was a great festival of gymnastics with each child having the opportunity to perform before the crowd. (and they did a fantastic job).

Our Level 1 - 2's performed the new Gymnastics Queensland routines for the first time and performed them really well.

Our Level 3 - 6's had a great preparation meet for the upcoming regional championships.  Our Brisbane girls compete on the 22nd/23rd May while our Gold Coast girls compete on the 29th/30th May. (We wisht them and our boys good luck for the upcoming regionals and trials).

Our level 7 - 10's had an exceptional practice meet in preparation for the State team Trial being held in two weeks.  The girls were introduced to the audience one at a time as they performed their state routines under pressure.  While we still need to improve over the next two weeks, the girls showed that they will be a force to be reckoned with at the trial. (Please note that in Level 3 we found an error as three girls from St Hilda's Southport were accidentally entered in the wrong division.  This has been correced in the published results and additional awards for girls who are affected by this error will be fixed this week.
