Boot Camp is our Delta way of getting our team gymnasts ready for the year ahead.

From Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th our Twelve - 20 Hour gymnasts from Brisbane will join our Delta Force Squad from St Hilda's Southport in a jam packed 48 Hours of training, goal setting and fun.

Boot Camp balances our training needs with getting the gymnasts ready for touring and meeting other gymnasts in a social environment so they can make friends and be more comfortable at competitions this year.

The Delta Raffles weredrawn at the Delta Awards Nights.

Thankyou to all those who supported the raffle.  All proceeds raised from the raffles will go to supporting the Delta Gymnasts at both Brisbane and St HIlda's Southport Clubs.

Our end of year Awards Dinners went off without a hitch as over 400 people shared dinner over two nights for our annual Delta St Hilda's Southport and Delta Brisbane Awards Dinners.

At the 2009 National Club Championships, Delta had Eleven girls who placed first on an apparatus or overall.  We congratulate all Delta girls for their results and applaud these girls for being the best in Australia at this competition.

Our Delta Brisbane Girls went to Canberra on a mission to secure the National Club Champions Crown for a third time.  Lead by Captains Kristy Bishop and Stephanie Zietek the girls did just that.

What a way to end the year!

Over 420 gymnasts attended our Delta Carnival and End of Year Invitational held at the St HIlda's Sports Complex on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23rd November.

With visitors from New Zealand, New South Wales and South East Queensland we had a variety of clubs, gymnasts and some great competition.

On Sunday 25th October our Level 4 Senior Extension Plus girls from Delta Brisbane attended the popular Mitchelton Youth Club Invitational and did a fantastic job.

Over the September School Holidays, 35 Delta Brisbane and 11 Delta St Hilda's Southport Girls flew to Sydney to Contest the GCA Cup.

The event was an OPEN tour and all girls from Squad and above were invited to compete.

Delta Brisbane defended it's title in winning the Women's Artistic Gymnastics State Club Championships for the 4th year in a row.

Delta St Hilda's Southport under the guidance of Head Coach Jodie McGinnity placed 2nd Overall Club and increased the margin from 2nd to 3rd place since 2008.

The team season is upon us and our girls had a solid start to the season with some good performances in Round 1 of the Team Challenge held at Spring Hill over the weekend.  We have a lot of work to do to over the next three weeks to achieve our goals, and we are confident the girls can do it!

Delta girls finished the WAG National Championships in Perth with their most successful finish ever, placing girls into the top group in the finals in all levels and placing girls on the victory dias in all levels.

Sidney McIlwaine defended her lead from the Team competition to complete the National Titles as Delta and Queensland's latest girls National Champion.

Tim Wilson claimed 1st place overall to become the National Champion in the Level 7 Open Division.`

Queensland has shown great strength in the WAG Team events to be the leading state in Australia in Women's Artistic Gymnastics in the Level's Stream.

Our Delta Girls made up 12 of the 24 team positions for Queensland and we are very proud of their selection and performance.

Our girls and boys made us proud as they represented their regions in the first ever Regional Challenge.  Each region selected a team of their best 6 gymnasts (from under and over age divisions)  at their own Regional Championships and these gymnasts competed again at the end of the state titles for their Regional Team.

The Delta Gymnasts are showing what a force they are in Queensland with some wonderful results.

We are proud of our newly crowned state champions as well as our gymnasts who have performed at states for the first time and those boys and girls who have worked so hard to qualify to States.

This year's Delta Challenge included a very high standard of competition for Level 1 - 6's along with a carnival for Level 1 - 3's and a  "control test" for many of our Level 7 - 10 State Team competitors.

As it was also the 10th Birthday of the Delta Challenge we also had a special video presentation and coaches and Judges function on the Saturday night.

The newly upgraded facilities at Clayfield College now provides for International Standard competition equipment and exceptional facilities for spectators.

Our Delta Brisbane Girls did a good job at the Brisbane North Regional Championships held at Spring Hill on the 23/24th May.

While there were many little mishaps in routines and some nervous times throughout the competition, the girls did a great job with many girls achieving personal bests and significantly improving their positions from last year.

Special congratulations to our new Regional Champions and girls selected to represent Brisbane North at the Inter-Regional Challenge in June.

Our Delta Duel Event was a great hit with over 520 gymnasts participating over the two day event.

The Event included the Delta Autumn Carnival, the Darling Downs Regionals, the South East Coast Regionals and the Delta Duel Competition.

In a fantastic display of gymnastics, girls and boys from throughout South East Queensland converged on our newly upgraded St Hilda's Venue to perform their gymnastics.
